aden + anais product reviews + 2 giveaways!

aden + anais products are by far one of the most loved around these parts.  Not just by yours truly but by our real moms that are sure to let us know.  Almost every week, our featured mama mentions an aden + anais product as their favorite.  It is no surprise.  Their products are fantastic.  Not only from a functional perspective but also from a design perspective.  Today we are reviewing two great products:the easy swaddle and the classic sleeping bag.   And lucky for you on this holiday week, we are offering each product for giveaway – details below!

First up is the easy swaddle.  aden + anais is known for it’s super soft, muslin cotton swaddle blankets and they are loved immensely by parents everywhere.  If you are anything like me, you had no idea how to swaddle before you had your little one.  Luckily, I had a husband who was an expert swaddler and taught me how to keep our gal cozy.  Since Eloise was born, aden + anais has introduced the easy swaddle which would have made my life SO much easier.

The easy swaddle takes a classic aden + anais swaddle blanket and does the hard part for you.  All you have to do it put the babe in, snap a few snaps and voilà! Seriously, it is that easy.  The easy swaddle comes in two sizes: small/med (0-3 months) and large (3-6 months) and comes in several lovable designs.

aden-anais-easy-swaddle-how-toaden + anais sent me an easy swaddle to test so I called in my friend with an eight week old for some swaddle testing.  The easy swaddle is as easy to use as advertised.  It is basically fool proof.  You put the babe in the pocket that is the easy swaddle, attach snaps on the shoulders (two on each side) and fold the flaps around the body to snugly swaddle the little one.  There are four different “sizes” around the outside so it can grow with your child while always ensuring a snug swaddle.  So how did it work?  Great.  Our model seemed very happy and cozy in the easy swaddle and his mom even tried it for a night sleep.  She especially loved it because of it’s light weight which is perfect for summer.  The only time she thought it got tricky was diaper changes.  It does require you to take your little one out of the swaddle to have full access but the upside is the ease at which you can easily get back into the easy swaddle.  Since the testing, the model’s mama has promptly ordered two easy swaddles.  All in all, the easy swaddle is absolutely fabulous.  It is great for all times of day – works great for daytime napping and general hanging out for a newborn and great for nighttime sleep, too.  As mentioned, we’re giving one away – details below!

We’re also reviewing the classic sleeping bag made by aden + anais.  We all know the importance of safe sleeping and sleeping bags play a major role in ensuring safe sleep. The use of sleeping bags/sleepsacks eliminates the need to put blankets in the crib.  aden + anais’ classic sleeping bags are as fabulous as their other products.

The classic sleeping bag is made from one layer of aden + anais’ lovable muslim which makes it perfect for spring/summer and early fall.  The classic sleeping bag comes in various sizes (S, M, L) but all are ample sized.  Eloise is on the smaller side for 12 months and can still get into a small although, a medium would be the right size for daily use. I love the classic sleeping bag.  It is the perfect weight for the warmer months (or under fleece PJ’s in winter months), washes well and most of all, creates a safe sleeping environment. For winter months or cooler climates, the classic sleeping bag also comes as the cozy sleeping bag with four layers of cozy muslin to keep your little one warm in the coldest of temps.

Bottom line, both of these products are loved and will hit our registry guides.  To date, haven’t met an aden + anais product we don’t love.  We’re excited to be giving away both the easy swaddle and classic sleeping bag.  So hurry and enter before you head out for your fun 4th of July plans!

Winners will be selected at random on Monday, July 8th.  Winners will be contacted via email and have five days to claim their prize before another winner is selected.
