  2. As a new mom, I seem to be having trouble making purchasing decisions on everything. On top of that, ‘m considering not finding out the gender, so put gender neutral on top of my list of items to buy and I’ve got quite a dilemma. Thankful for all the reviews and real mom opinions provided here!

I won’t enter the giveaway as this EXACT car seat is sitting on our dining room table awaiting its installation in my car! I’m so glad to hear confirmation on what I already knew: Britax is safe and one of the best products on the market. Baby Kamden is due December 22, but he could arrive any day now. Maybe Britax will send you one of their convertible car seats to review and giveaway … HINT HINT HINT!!!!

Can’t say I had any issues deciding on baby gear. I’ve been a nanny for years so I had the unique advantage of trying a bunch of brands before even having a baby. Britax is definitely the best car seat in my opinion. It is a little bulkier/heavier though. It doesn’t always fit in restaurant seats provided. But I think it’s the safest seat out there so I’ll deal with the bulk.

I think the most difficult would be the car seat because there are so many brands and styles out there. It’s your baby’s safety, what you’re taking them home in, and you want it to be the best one you can have. Each one has different specs, different levels of easy of installation, and if you’re wanting to match it with a stroller then you have to consider whether it should match or not. It’s a tricky buy.

Definitely the car seat/stroller. I am small and want something safe but lightweight and also don’t want to have to buy three strollers- one for travel, one for older baby and one for jogging. So tough.

The toughest piece of baby gear for me to choose was a bottle. I tried a dozen before baby finally took!

We have had the hardest time picking a carseat because we want to make sure that it is the safest one around. We actually decided the Britax B-Safe was the way we wanted to go! I love it in black and kiwi!

The hardest baby item to choose was definitely the carseat! You want the safest, but also something that seems comfortable for baby, easy to clean, easy to install, and not too heavy! Plus there are so many options, it makes it hard to choose!

The car seat was not a problem for me, but choosing the stroller was a headache. So many parameters to consider and I ended up with Britax B-Ready.

Definitely is hard choosing an infant car seat. Car seats are just so important and they aren’t all equal!

Being a first time mom, I have found that there are so many options out there for all the baby gear that I will need. Luckily I have many close friends who are already mommies and have provided me with lost of good advice. The one thing that I am having a lot of trouble deciding on is the crib. Living in Canada, it limits the amount of online shopping that I can do as many stores from the US don’t ship to Canada. I have found a few cribs that I absolutely love but unfortunately I can’t get them here in Canada. My husband and I are still trying to decide a 2 options that we were able to find here in Canada.
