Diaper One N Done Review + Giveaway

Diaper disposal. Perhaps not the most glamorous of topics but a necessary one. The Diaper One N Done was created by a dad who saw a problem with the traditional methods of diaper disposal. I was sent a Diaper One N Done and used it for several weeks. Lucky for one of you, we are giving away one of these handy diaper disposers.

The idea behind the One N Done is simple. Diapers are smelly so why “store” them up in a larger canister to be emptied days or a week later? Why not put the diaper in a bag, tie it up to contain the smell and throw it out? The One N Done does just that. After placing the soiled diaper in the one in done, you contain the smell by knotting the bag and pulling it out. The next bag easily pops up for you to “ready” the One N Done for the next diaper change. You put the contained, single diaper in your trash can and have no build up of smelly diapers.

diaper-one-n-done The One N Done can conveniently hang from a changing table bar or if you don’t have one it can sit on the changing table/dresser combo. Some parents who don’t have the changing table bar hang it from a drawer and take advantage of freeing up the dresser top. As I mentioned, we used the One N Done for about two weeks. I really enjoyed the idea of throwing the diaper away immediately after it was used but I struggled with space on our dresser/changing table combo. Our dresser is pretty small and already crowded with lamps, a changing pad and an accessory or two. That being said, I think the One N Done functions best if it can hang from a bar or drawer because I had trouble pulling the bag out with just one hand. Theoretically, you could come back to get the bag/diaper when you have two hands and after you set your little one down somewhere but often times I forgot until the next diaper change which meant I left some smelly diapers exposed… and we all know what happens when you do that! So for me, it wasn’t the perfect solution but that doesn’t mean it can’t be for you!
