Fisher-Price My Little Lamb Infant Seat
The Wise Baby Rating: 
Highlights: The My Little Lamb infant seat is a battery powered, lightweight and mobile infant seat with with three settings to designed soothe your little one. The three settings consist of eight soothing songs, vibrations or a combination of the two. In addition to its soothing capabilities the removable lamb/mirror toy engages the baby as they grow. Our little one, Eloise loves watching the lamb (although, not automatic) and looking at herself in the mirror on the dome of the toy. It is great that the toy is easily removable as it allows for easy access to the her as well as better mobility when moving the seat from room to room (which is one of the seats best features!). The seat itself is cozy and made of soft, plush fabric and has an adjustable and removable head support. The entire seat/cover is easily removable for machine washing when necessary. From her birthweight of mid six pounds to her current mid nine pound state Eloise has always seemed comfortable in the seat and enjoys sitting and sleeping in the seat. We use both the combination of music/vibrations and just the vibrations. She is usually asleep after about five minutes! Although, as she has gotten older she has become more engaged with the little lamb toy. For being lightweight, the seat is sturdy, stable and comes with an adjustable safety harness to keep your baby in a comfortable position. Lastly, the seat easily folds to a fairly flat position which is great for storage and travel.
Lowlights: There isn’t terribly too much bad to say about the My Little Lamb Infant Seat. I realize we use our seat quite a bit but it seems to drain batteries pretty quickly. We’ve had it for about six weeks now and have already replaced the batteries once (we used Energizer batteries). The music option does not have volume control which it could really use. The music isn’t overwhelmingly loud but if I want to add another cycle and I turn it back on it sometimes startles Eloise. Which brings me to another negative – it would be nice if the seat had programmable cycle times. Sometimes, when the seat shuts off, even if just on vibrate it wakes Eloise up. It would be great if I could set the seat to vibrate for longer periods of time to allow her to fall into a little deeper sleep. In order to restart the cycle you have to move the little dial to “off” and then back to your selected mode. Again, sometimes the moving of the dial can wake Eloise up if she is not in a deep sleep. The good news is once the seat is back on she is usually back off to sleep.
Bottom Line: The My Little Lamb seat pulls a five out five rating. Granted, it has its negatives here and there but one seat can’t do everything, can it?!? Not only does Eloise LOVE the seat but I do too. It is a safe place to put her while I am getting things done and the best part is I can easily move it from room to room. Without this seat I don’t think our dishes would ever get done!

We’re not sure which item’s most important yet — our daughter’s due later this month! — but a SAFE car seat & crib seem to be two of the essentials!
I can’t wait to get my Fisher-Price Dad’s Diaper Bag Backpack. This is one of the last thing on my “to get list”. I’ve heard rave reviews about it and I ordered it on sale. My baby is not due until the end of the month but I can’t wait to pack it full of baby stuff.
I am most excited to receive and consider the most important item to be, the crib. I think setting up the crib and surrounding it with baby items will make this all seem very real and get me super pumped to meet my little one.
I can’t wait to find my perfect rocker/glider! I am holding out until I find one that is super comfy and fits like a glove. I figure with all the time i’ll be spending in it rocking our little one, it is worth the costly investment of getting a real good one.

Our Lydia is 7 months old now and we couldn’t have lived without our co-sleeper for the last 6.5 months. It kept her at my side during the night, which I believe trained her to be an excellent sleeper – and gave me the needed rest to survive the workday after I went back to work. Now she sleeps in her big crib and I miss the days when I could sense her stirring next to me and simply lay my hand on her chest to calm her back to sleep in about 10 seconds. A must have for any new mom!
We love our little lamb swing! The different directions is great for when baby is in a mood for something different.
My baby is 2 months old and one of the items on our must have list is the Aden + Anais Muslin Swaddle Blanket. We use the blanket everyday and take it with us everywhere. Its perfect for summer.

Our must-have is petroleum jelly! We used this for keeping diaper rash at bay and IT WORKS wonderfully! Also, something to keep my daughter’s attention during diaper changes is a big plus!
