Our sweet little gal, Margaux is going to be three months old very soon. THREE months. I can’t believe it but in the same sense I can’t remember life without her. Margie-roo as I so often call her, continues to be an angelic little lady and whom we love more than words (even big sis does… most of the time ;)). We are still enjoying all of our products from her first list of favorites but have added some new ones as of late… many of which I also loved with Eloise. Mama’s of more than one, did you find yourself loving the same things the second (third, fourth, etc) time around?
- Arm’s Reach Mini Co-Sleeper Bassinet - I loved the Co-Sleeper with Eloise (review, here) and at first, Margaux did not like to sleep laying completely flat. I am happy to report that for the last month or so we’ve been using and loving the Co-Sleeper again. I have said it before and am going to say it again – I love having her so close and at eye level while still having her own, separate safe space to sleep. By the way, the leg extension kit is a must for us to have Margaux at the perfect height – they take the Co-Sleeper from regular mattress height to pillow top mattress height.
- HALO SleepSack Fleece Swaddle - HALO SleepSack’s were another product I loved with Eloise and am loving again with Margaux. We stopped swaddling early and go the “arms out” way of swaddling. I am safe sleep obsessed and HALO provides a warm and safe environment for Margaux. Due to the season, we have been using the fleece variety and I would rank these SleepSacks an absolutely must have for me (and Margaux)!
- Cetaphil Fragrance Free Cream – I love lots of great smelling baby lotion but this Ceptaphil fragrance free cream is downright awesome. It is super moisturizing but still really gentle and I have been loving it for both girls. I missed some of that “baby” fragrance so mix my other favorite, more fragrant lotions with the Cetaphil providing the best of both worlds. One other bonus is that Cetaphil is budget friendly!
- Dr. Brown’s Wide Neck bottles – Margaux has been a bit picky when it has come to bottles and the Dr. Brown’s wide neck bottles have quickly become her favorite. The wide base is designed specifically for breastfeeding babies to mimic the natural breast. Margaux has had no issues with fussiness or gas and I can’t help but think these bottles have played a role in that. Eloise was a Dr. Brown’s Standard girl but the bottom line is I continue to be impressed with Dr. Brown’s products.
- Kissy Kissy footies – I am sure everyone is sick of talking and hearing about this ridiculously cold weather us in the midwest have been faced with but it has left Margaux’s wardrobe to mostly footies. Margaux and my favorite brand is Kissy Kissy. She LIVES in these things. They are so super soft and come in so many cute designs, I absolutely love them. These make a great “new baby” gift as they are a bit pricey i.e., a real treat to get as a gift!
- Gilligan & O’Malley Nursing bras - I feel lucky that nursing is going better this time around. I have quite a few other nursing bras that I really like and have more reviews coming up but these Gilligan & O’Malley bras are some of my favorite. They are so easy and comfortable to wear they make nursing easier. Without getting to graphic – I love that you can just pull it down/up. No clips or clasps to mess with, just down to business. By the way, I love the entire Gilligan & O’Mally line.
- Mamas and Papas Gingerbread blanket - We featured this blanket on our holiday gift guide and I was lucky enough to be gifted one and I love it. I use this blanket daily for Margaux’s nap time. It is heavier weight wise so I think it gives her the illusion she is being held which what 2.5 month old doesn’t love to be held all the time? It keeps her warm but because of its hand knit nature it is breathable so it doesn’t overheat her. I never thought I could love a baby blanket so much!
– (not pictured) Big Sis - As Margaux has become more interactive she absolutely loves starring and cooing at big sis. And as Margaux has become more interactive, Big Sis has taken quite the interest in her. I often find her rubbing her head when I am not looking, placing toys around her as she naps in her Little Lounger and talking her sisterly gibberish to her as she works on tummy time. To say this sisterly love melts my heart is an understatement. One of these days I will capture a picture but for now, these moments still stop me in my tracks.
Anything you loved for your 2 – 3 month old I should considering adding to my list?
