    A few others…

    1. Power bars. I lived on Builder bars during early morning feeds with Susanna. Think Thin bars were also great.

    2. A water bottle.

    3. A journal, pen, and pencil. For those moments of wanting to write, sketch, or doodle when the moments, memories, and emotions need to be released!

    4. A nice nursing tank, shirt, or a gift card for one.

I loved my BrestFriend…it was so helpful on my back…I used it multiple times a day throughout the year I breastfed. Another tip that I would recommend is using a hair tie to remember which side I last fed her on….after she would eat I would just put it on the wrist of the side that I was to start on the next time- very helpful!!

I am making this as a gift for every baby shower going forward! What a great idea! Definitely agree with Wendy though, a water hotel is a MUST!

I loved those instant cooling pads during the first two weeks of breast feeding!

This is such a great idea! I struggled with breast feeding, and this would have been a nice perk to keep me motivated. I would also include the Mothers Milk tea–I drink 2-3 cups a day and love it, even though my husband thinks it smells like a foot.
