Well it’s been six months since we shared Oscar’s favorite baby products and as he is now on the (verge of) move, eating solids, regularly napping, and vocalizing his wants often, I figured it was time to revisit our favorite must-haves. You may recognize a few of these products from his first favorites list, but many are new. Everything on this list makes our crazy life exponentially easier, happier or both.
– Baby Einstein Activity Jumper: When my first son was a baby, I borrowed one of these from a friend and it pretty much lived in our garage/gym so I could work out and have Harry safe and nearby. With Oscar, we bought one of our own and use it all the time. It’s entertaining and educational and it keeps him safely contained while I’m showering, cooking, cleaning, etc. We use it anytime I need to put him down and he loves bouncing around in it, spinning to look at each different part.
– Baby Bjorn Soft Bib: Oscar is my eater. He does not stop. But as a seven month old, let’s just say he’s not as precise as say my three year old is when it comes to actually getting the food into his mouth. Enter this bib. Not only does it protect his shirt from food, but the little spill pocket catches most of the food he drops. Bonus: it’s super easy to wash – either by wiping clean or throwing in the dishwasher.
– Braided Pacifier Clip: We us wubbanubs at nap time and bedtime, but we clip a pacifier to this cute clip whenever we’re out of the house. It came in handy on our recent trip to the States (23 hours of traveling!) when I especially didn’t want Oscar’s pacifier to fall to the ground. Aside from being super useful to avoid dropping the pacifier, it’s really cute and comes in so many colors!
– Shea Moisture Baby Wash: I absolutely love the smell of this raw shea, chamomile, and argan oil baby wash. It’s very gentle, sulfate-free, and ultra-moisturizing. I rarely need to lotion Oscar up, which is impressive in the middle of a German winter.
– Manhattan Toy Developmental Toy: This acts as a teether, a rattle, and a toy, all in one. The colors and patterns are fun for Oscar, it’s soft so I don’t worry about him getting hurt, and because there are so many different parts, it holds his attention for a while.
– Solly Wrap: This made it on our first list of favorite products and it’s still high on our list today. I love this wrap for it’s ease of use, plus it’s super cute. It’s easy to stuff into itself and throw into the diaper bag. The fabric is beautiful, soft, and breathable. Still one of my all time favorite baby carriers!
– UPPAbaby Vista: You can see my full review here, but bottom line, we love this stroller. It’s versatile, easy to use, and can pack a ton on it. Both of my boys can ride at once and there are so many options for Oscar in both a regular seat and his carseat. We use this stroller almost daily.
– Wildbird Sling: I know this is the second soft carrier on my list, but honestly, I couldn’t get through a whole week without both of these carriers! I use them for different reasons. The Wildbird is my favorite carrier to use at home. It’s so quick to get Oscar into the sling and once he’s in there, it feels like a big hug. Oscar loves to be in here when he just needs to be held and I’m busy and need my hands. See my full review here.
