Can you explain how the suit works for you? The website doesn’t mention that is keeps them on their back, just that its designed for babies who sleep I. Their back. My daughter is doing the back to belly thing too but not sure how this helps?

      Hi Janny,
It works because it prevents them from flipping to the tummy and getting stuck in the middle of the night. I know some people just let them flip and sleep on the tummy but when he was younger I wasn’t ok with that so I liked knowing he was in the suit and would be safely on his back all night. It also helps because it quells the startle reflect and they can sleep longer. Another thing I like is that he associates the suit with sleep so when I put him in it he just closes his eyes and doesnt fuss. I hope that helps!

Which car seat and adapter did you use for the BOB? We are getting the CE and I am struggling with choosing the best seat because many reviews say the adapters don’t work very well.
    Thanks!

      My adapter worked great!

I used the Chico KeyFit 30 infant seat. I thought the adapter was really easy to get in and out which was a huge plus when he got bigger. I would keep the adapter handy in case we were going to a restaurant and he wanted to sleep in the car seat. I would pop it out if he wanted to sit up on a walk and look around.

I used the Magic Merlin suit for several months with fantastic results! He started sleeping through the night for the first time with this suit. The suit is structured enough so that it is difficult (but not impossible) for the baby to roll over. The suit is still very soft and comfy, no boning or plastic pieces or anything. My son LOVED his, and it was a sad day when he was strong enough to roll over even in the suit and we had to retire it.

I second the Dohm white noise machine! This thing is amazing! Another bonus is it helps cut out noise from around the house. I have had the smoke alarm go off multiple times in a row and people are always ringing our doorbell but my daughter sleep right through! We used it from day one so even if she was in a new place or when we moved her to her new room it was something that was constant. When we flip it on I can see her eye start to droop a little because she has learned that that noise means its time to sleep.
