Red, White and Blue Boy Baby Shower

The annual Fourth of July celebration brings to mind fireworks, parades, barbecues, picnics and more.  What better way to honor American Independence than a red, white and blue boy baby shower?  Pulling in patriotic decorative elements and combining with a fun and casual menu we have all the makings of a great seasonally appropriate shower.  To set the mood we have selected appropriately colored and stylish invites from Tiny Prints, one of our favorites.  Paper lanterns and striped paper goods from TomKat studio showcase the theme atop a cute DIY starry tabletop runner and are accentuated by red and white flowers in vintage milk-glass vases.  BBQ is a must for a Fourth celebration and these grilled Caprese skewers are colorful and delicious. For the adults, an offering of red, white and blue sangria is not only visually appealing, it tastes great!  Watch the neighborhood fireworks and polish off that sangria while enjoying a desert of Strawberry Shortcake Stacks and Baby theme iced sugar cookies. Can you tell we love desert? Please let us know what you think of our red, white, and blue boy baby shower!

P.S. – we recommend letting the adults handle the fireworks!
