Finally. I can call off the six month+ long search. Seriously, I know I sound really drammatic but I have been searching for a mirror that would affix to the seat that would allow me to see Eloise since before she was born. For some reason, I had the toughtest time. I asked friends, Google, Amazon and no one seemed to have the answer. I had to drop in the new Buy Buy Baby near me the other day and right there in front of me was the Brica baby-in-sight mirror. I thought, why not, I will give it a try. It was a $14.99 gamble I was willing to take…
and the result? LOVE it. There is something comforting about being able to safely and quickly look back and see that Eloise is resting, playing or see why she is fussing. The mirror is lightweight and most importantly shatter resistant so in case we were in an accident or the mirror was to fall it would cause no harm to Eloise. The mirror provides a wide angle view so you can see everything going on back there. This feature is obviously helpful but also helpful in case you have a large golden retriever who likes to lick his sister and a sister who encourages said golden retriever to come closer!
The mirror can be installed four different ways so there is bound to be one that works for you and your car. We went with it on the back of the headrest and it was super easy to install and fix into place. The mirror is also secure. We’ve been using this for several weeks now and it remains in the original position. Seriously, it hasn’t budged.
Based on past failures with travel mirrors Eloise already had a mirror she can see her reflection in (it even lights up and plays music but is worthless when it comes to seeing her). BUT if she didn’t already have a mirror or if she feels like checking herself out in two different mirrors, she can. She can easily see herself but I can’t say she is intrigued by it given she has always had a mirror back there.
Is there anything bad? Nope. I can’t think of a thing other than, why didn’t someone tell me about this sooner?

Thanks for this tip! I didn’t think to register for one of these but could definitely use one. It would stop me from having to pull over while driving to see what is going on back there!
