I feel like every week I am telling you guys this is my favorite product but that is really what this Virtual Baby Shower is. A series of giveaways of my must haves for babes. The Arm’s Reach Co-Sleeper Mini was one of the first products I reviewed on The Wise Baby (here) and as time went on and I have met new baby products the Co-Sleeper mini remains one of my all time favorite baby products. So it probably goes without saying that I am thrilled to be offering one to a lucky reader!
If I am being completely honest, which of course I am… I registered for the Co-Sleeper Mini and then took it off my registry thinking I wouldn’t need it with some of the other gear I had already received (pack n play with newborn napper and rock n play sleeper). After two days home with Eloise, we took our first family outing, other than the Pediatrician, to purchase a Co-Sleeper Mini. It was a game changer.
First, the Co-Sleeper isn’t really co-sleeping. Your baby is never in your bed but rather a confined, safe space all their own attached to your bed. The Co-Sleeper attaches very securely to your bed all while remaining a separate space. The one additional purchase you may need to make is the leg extension
kit so to make sure it is the right height for your bed. The Co-Sleeper puts your new bundle of joy at eye level with you and makes middle of the night feedings so easy – just reach over, from your spot in bed and your ready to go. While I did not have a c-section, the Co-Sleeper is praised by c-section moms for not having to “lift” their babies out of a bassinet, pack n play, etc.
As a huge safe sleeping advocate I appreciate the firm, flat surface the Co-Sleeper Mini provides. Eloise was always a good sleeper so I will take that as she found the Co-Sleeper Mini to be very comfortable! The Mini is also the perfect size for small and large spaces alike. Eloise was an average sized infant and was able to fit comfortably in the co-sleeper until about six months when it became a little tight width wise if she had her arms spread wide. The Co-Sleeper also comes in a larger size but for most people’s purposes the Mini should be a good fit.
The Co-Sleeper Mini can also be used as a free standing bassinet in the event you prefer not have your little on cozied up next to the bed. Eloise slept in her co-sleeper, in our room, next to our bed for the first six months at which point she was outgrowing it which in hindsight was probably a good thing because I would probably still have her in there! Just kidding but I did love the co-sleeper that much. I am excited to be using my Co-Sleeper again for baby #2 but this time from day 1.
For our Virtual Baby Shower, Arm’s Reach is giving away a Co-Sleeper Mini in one of their newest colors, Java Dot. The giveaway starts today Friday, Octover 25th and ends Saturday, November 1st at noon CST. Winner will be selected at random and contacted via email with five days to claim their prize.
